Program description
The Trial Phase Explorer SMS Program is an optional Clinical Trials program. It sends clinical trial phase explainers, research content, general study opportunity updates, and status notices for user-initiated requests. Topics include Phase I, Phase II, Phase III, and Phase IV research, study objectives, participation basics, screening, informed consent, and study visits. Trial Phase Explorer is not a research organization or healthcare provider.
Message categories
- Account notifications. Message frequency varies based on account activity.
- Recurring marketing messages. Message frequency varies, generally up to 4 messages per month.
Each category requires its own separate consent.
Opt-in method
You join by entering your mobile number and checking one or more unchecked SMS consent boxes on our contact page or text lessons page. A phone number alone is never treated as consent.
First message
Your first message identifies Trial Phase Explorer and the category you chose, for example: "Trial Phase Explorer: You're subscribed to trial phase explainers and general study opportunity updates. We are not a research organization or healthcare provider. Up to 4 msgs/month. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel."

Account notifications: frequency varies based on account activity. Marketing: generally up to 4 messages per month.

STOP instructions
Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT at any time to cancel. You will receive one confirmation: "Trial Phase Explorer: You are unsubscribed and will receive no further messages for this program. Reply START to opt in again." No further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.
HELP instructions
Reply HELP for help. You will receive: "Trial Phase Explorer: For help, email learn@trialphaseexplorer.com or call +1 307-107-0129. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel."

The program is available to adults 18 years of age or older with a US mobile number.
